Madgex are proud to announce we have been nominated as one of Brighton’s Best Places to Work, in this year’s Brighton and Hove Business Awards (BAHBA).
The BAHBA’s awards ceremony takes place on 6th June on the city’s most iconic landmark, Brighton Pier. The awards are the city’s biggest celebration of business success and are a much anticipated event in Brighton’s business calendar.
Madgex are delighted to be finalists in an awards ceremony which celebrates the diversity and uniqueness of a city, bursting with business and innovation. We have beaten some very tough competition to be recognised for our unique working environment, which is designed to support and encourage all of our staff within their careers.
Here at Madgex we understand the importance of a great workplace, and the results it has on productivity and staff morale. We go out of our way to create a working community ensuring all of our staff are happy and healthy. Benefits such as flexible working hours, wellbeing initiatives and of course cake Fridays, have all been recognised by the BAHBA’s and contributed towards our nomination.
When we asked our staff ‘what are we really like as an employer’ the responses were overwhelming;
‘Fantastic! Madgex provides me with the tools that I need to shape my career how I see fit and there is encouragement from every angle to grow and develop your skills.’
‘The relaxed culture of treating employees like adults who have lives outside of work makes the correct work-life balance very easy.’
Madgex are already an accredited Best Companies Employer, and we have been previously recognised for our dedication to our working environment. We achieved a coveted Bronze Award in the prestigious Investors in People Standard in 2012. Not only this but in 2009 we were awarded a place on the Sunday Times Best Small Company to work for list, and are striving to better our ranking in 2014.
Innovation and success is at the heart of every working day at Madgex, and we believe a positive working atmosphere is key to achieving our goals. Having this attitude recognised at a local level is a fantastic opportunity for us to show the bustling business world of Brighton, how we do things differently.
