For over 125 years, EMAP's Drapers publication has been the leading voice of fashion retail. In an industry that is constantly changing and evolving. To keep up with the needs of their market, Drapers needed a new look for their job board, something that would embody their distinctive brand and help set them apart.
Working alongside the Drapers team, we helped design a new streamlined homepage, giving the job board a refreshed style. The simple navigation and browse facilities made it easier than ever for job seekers to browse and apply for the latest vacancies.
With a new, contemporary feel, the new DrapersJobs found that their improved user experience had a huge impact on their audience, growing traffic and conversion rates across the board.
Within 12 months, DrapersJobs saw huge impact across a number of key metrics for their site. With traffic up 146% and applications up an incredible 263%, it was clear that the new design and layout was not just drawing in new traffic, but was able to convert it to applications. This clearly became a huge draw for recruiters, with employers flocking to advertise on the site. Their success with the new design also bought Drapers recognition, with Onrec awarding them 'Niche Job board of the year' in 2012 - an amazing result!
