Supply Chain Online (SCO) is an online recruitment specialist. But for one of the longest-standing job boards in their niche industry, the numbers weren’t telling as compelling a story as they could. Especially when it came to engagement, conversion, and application rates.
We took a fresh look at SCO’s users journeys, ensuring they were as simple and intuitive as possible. We also went over every facet of its job board, searching for new ways to optimise the experience, make it fully responsive across any platform, and drive more mobile traffic as a result. Because we spend hundreds of thousands of pounds on UX research every year, we were particularly well positioned to identify a range of ways the site could be optimised – both for users and for new revenue opportunities.
Supply Chain Online’s audience quickly began accessing its job board in much greater numbers from mobile devices. In fact, mobile traffic nearly doubled (leaping by 97%) soon after SCO switched to the Madgex platform. And SCO’s improved availability to its audience when, where and how they wanted to access its job board, saw engagement levels rise in kind. Buoyed in part by an improved job-alert functionality, job application rates soared by an eye-watering 68% in just 3 months.
