The UK’s Best Workplaces awards recognise the top 50 businesses, in three categories, based on their workplace culture and employee trust.

Madgex came 11th in the medium category, which is for British businesses with between 50 and 499 employers. According to Best Workplaces 92% of employees in the top quartile of organisations are more engaged.

The awards are run by Great Place to Work UK, which is part of the world's largest consultancy, specialising in workplace assessment and enhancement. Each year it surveys around 12 million employees, across more than 6,000 organisations via its Trust Index Employee Survey.

The anonymous feedback received plays a key role in deciding which companies are the best to work for. The awards are also based on a Culture Audit, which gives an insight into each company’s values, programmes and practices.

Madgex’s HR Director Hanna Smith: “We understand the importance of creating a great working environment, and the result it has on productivity and staff morale. We go out of our way to ensure all of our staff are happy and healthy, as we believe that this creates a stronger team. We're delighted to have been recognised on the Great Place to Work list again as it shows how much of an impact our hard work has.”

This is the latest triumph for the Brighton-based technology company, which recently placed an impressive 95th in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies awards. Madgex has also achieved the Investors in People Gold and the Simply Health Healthy Workplace Award within in the last few years.
