Madgex is excited to celebrate their 10th anniversary this week. Having being selected by the Tech Media Invest Top 100 list for the second year running, and with a handful of its sites picked as finalists in the upcoming National Online Recruitment awards, the company is celebrating its first ten years as the power behind leading job board and CV businesses.
Over the past decade, Madgex’s innovative approach to online recruitment has built a global client base and cemented a position as the UK’s leading supplier for job board and CV database services. Today, our award winning job board platform powers over 200 sites globally and boasts a client list that includes Haymarket, STV, Bauer, Incisive Media and the Star Tribune.
Madgex was founded in 2000 by directors Glenn Jones, Dan Meadows and Mark Bedser. Their aim was, and has remained throughout, to help job seekers find the best jobs and recruiters find the best candidates by delivering inspirational and innovative digital recruitment, and their award winning software has been creating and optimising revenue streams for clients ever since.
From day one, Madgex has recognised the importance of building a creative culture which ensures that we remain at the cutting edge of innovation. Our team is our greatest asset, and a great deal of time and care is taken to make sure that they feel valued. Madgex was thrilled to receive national recognition by achieving a place in the prestigious Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work for 2009 list. Ranked 43rd out of the whole of the UK, this was a fantastic achievement and something Madgex is extremely proud of.
The company’s growth came through the development of our people and by honest engagement with our clients and the communities we interact with. This lead to us establishing relationships with large global media organisations which today include The Guardian, The Times and The Washington Post. Our strength lies in our unassailable innovation leadership and our expertise in user experience. This combination underpins everything that happens at Madgex and is reflected in our product design and our team building.
We believe that the next ten years will bring continued growth for the company, increasing our position in the global market. As digital technologies continue to evolve, so will our products. The Madgex mobile phone apps now allow jobseekers to apply for jobs directly from their mobile phones, and Madgex will continue to lead from the front as digital recruitment continues to evolve. We are committed to becoming the most successful global provider of trusted job board and CV search and match software and services.
Simon Conroy, CEO, commented: “Our excitement over the opportunities we see over the next ten years is evident in the acceleration of our progress. The rapid introduction of innovations and new services for our clients, and our trialling of flexible commercial models, puts us in a good position to continue our global expansion.”
