Local World unveiled a new online jobs platform at the end of 2014. This powerful resource driven by Madgex job board technology allows each of the company’s 79 newspaper websites to connect to a central database where recruiters can post vacancies locally and nationally across the Local World network.
This means, candidates benefit from the new responsive design features, improved user experience and search performance when accessing the site on any device.
Recruiters also benefit from the dedicated ‘recruiter’ area, where they can manage their account, create campaigns and access a fully-integrated reporting suite.
Local World commercial director Blanche Sainsbury said: "Recruitment is a very competitive market with many national job boards already in existence. But Local World has a unique offering of local candidates and local recruiters, bringing the two together under the umbrella of the local newspaper brand, yet with the flexibility to deliver national coverage to meet recruiter needs.
