We’re proud to announce that the job board we developed and customised for the Guardian has won Recruiter Magazine’s Best Job Board Award 2008. A panel of industry experts assessed entries according to quality of service, innovation and profitability for the Recruiter’s Awards for Excellence and commended jobs.guardian.co.uk for its ease of navigation and understanding of recruiter and candidate needs.
Last year, in conjunction with the Guardian, we conducted extensive research into the needs of both job seekers and recruiters, which informed the design and functionality of the award winning job site. As a result, from September 2006 – September 2007 the site has seen a 40 per cent increase in unique users to 1 million, increased response for advertisers and a 50 per cent increase in applications. The prestigious Recruiter Magazine award comes hot on the heels of the Guardian Job Board winning the Technical Innovation Award from OnRec and we are proud that our work with the Guardian has achieved so much.
