Today GMG Regional Media announced their move of The Jobs Mine onto the Madgex Job Board Software platform, fifteen months since its initial launch. The re-launch is the first stage in reversing the trend of print-led recruitment advertising for the Manchester Evening News online recruitment brand.
Upgrades to The Jobs Mine include branded job adverts, featured recruiters on the homepage and behaviourally targeted featured jobs and display adverts. We've also improved the SEO to maintain strong search engine rankings. This, combined with expanded listings that provide a higher level of job detail to the jobseeker, is already catching the interest of key recruiters in the area.
Gavin Merriman, Head of Product Development at GMG Regional Media commented “The new platform enables us to offer recruiters an even better range of recruitment solutions. What’s more, the online reporting system will allow them to track response so they can make sure they are getting ROI from their recruitment advertising.”
“We already have a bigger audience share than any other regional job site and with this improved job seeker experience we expect to see that audience growth continue.”
As part of the site re-launch GMG Regional Media have also upgraded their ad booking process to allow for the capture of web quality job and company data. This will make the job seeker experience much better whilst also helping to generate better response for employers.
Further enhancements to The Jobs Mine are planned, all contributing to the aim of reversing its trend of print recruitment advertising led sales. Our platform offers a strong integrated recruiter services solution, enabling recruiters to book their own advertising space and the site’s sales team to concentrate on new business.
