In 2009 The Star Tribune engaged Madgex to migrate their existing classified software to the latest version of the Madgex job board platform. The driver behind the move was a more robust platform with the ability to offer improved search engine optimisation and enhance user experience.
Just four weeks after the contract was signed, the new Star Tribune recruitment site was launched. Powered by the latest version of Madgex’s Job Board Platform, the site is specifically designed to optimise SEO and simplify user journeys.
Our lazy registration system means that users no longer have to undertake a lengthy registration process before applying for jobs or setting up email alerts. As a result, less applicants drop out of the process and higher conversion rates are attained.
The Madgex job board platform’s faceted navigation system automatically provides SEO optimised landing pages which help Google and other search engines to find them. Job ads are automatically exposed via hyperlinks which are labelled for the purpose of SEO enhancement. This allows search engines to easily index the content.
